Quisses
|
My quisses are made to work in tandem with the shovel knee greaves. Tthey replace the
floating cop and cover the entire thigh from the top of the knee to the hip socket.
They are NOT legal on their own for SCA combat as they do not cover the bony points on the side of the knee. They are meant to work with the shovel greaves. The quisses are made from 13 to 15 ounce vegetable tan leather and hardened in my multi-stage process, finished with a mix of carnauba and bees wax so they will not soften in sunlight. They are available in red, green, black, blue, and natural brown. They can also be tooled to add a personal touch to your harness.
